In 2013 Ginga Soccer took 14 students to
Tordera, Spain to attend the Cesc Fabregas
Academy. The program ran from June 30 to
July 7, 2013 (7 days and 7 nights). The academy
had 120 particpants in attendance from all over
the globe.
The four main values of the Cesc Fàbregas
Academy are:
- Team work.
- Humility.
- Perseverance.
- Fair play.
The participants did alot more than just soccer,they took part in other activites. This included,beach volleyball, basketball,
workshops, gymkhanas and daily activities in the swimming pool.
The participants were also shown healthy strategies. They were given 5 meals per day which included fruits, vegetables, carbohydrates, protein, etc. Parents were welcomed to enjoy the opening and closing events.
Ginga Soccer will participate in the camp again this upcoming year 2015. (Dates are June 27 to July 3, 2015 in Ibiza / July 13 to July 18 and July 20 to July 25 in Dominican Republic).
